Khadijah Khan - Junior and Youth Groups
Vision To critique and enrich the performances of budding young actors and help them learn and understand all aspects of stagecraft.
Background Khadijah has been involved in a wide variety of theatrical productions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre from Griffith University, majoring in education. Through her placements while studying, Khadijah gained invaluable experience at Metro Arts Theatre and Brisbane Powerhouse.
David Keirnan -Young Adult Master Class
Vision To instill or unleash a sense of play and discovery in those I work with. I will endeavour to create an environment where all who participate are encouraged to discover, explore and share the inherent creativity and passion that they posses. I would also offer the vocal and physical training I have been exposed to in the form of warm-ups, with the intention of forming habits that will serve participants if they choose to go beyond youth theatre.
Background Professionally trained, David has performed in a wide range of stage and screen productions. As well as being a regular at Phoenix Ensemble (he had key roles in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and The Crucible), David has extensive Shakespearean experience, performing in a number of productions with the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble.
His CV includes TV and internet commercials, short films and minor roles in feature films (including Daybreakers and Kokoda). He is also a professional children’s entertaining.
